Niall Scott

I had a go at various disciplines when I started shooting but soon realised that Skeet was the discipline for me.  I was basically self taught in the beginning and had some success and after about 5 years of shooing I managed to qualify for the Scottish Skeet Team in 2011 to participate in the Home International. I was fortunate enough to win Scottish International High Gun that year. I then qualified for the Scottish Skeet Team again in 2012 and 2013.However I realised that my scores were very inconsistent and would vary greatly from shoot to shoot.

Any serious skeet shooter knows that you must achieve high consistent scores to achieve the next level. I decided to get some structured coaching and was fortunate enough to be coached byundoubtedy the best skeet coach around David Beardsmore not to mention a fantastic skeet shooter who has won everything on the skeet scene.

David’s attention to detail and creating a system tailored to the shooter is second to none. His lessons are extremely hard work and he demands 100% commitment and effort. He is enthusiastic and offers total encouragement and advice. Under David’s coaching my scores  have become far more consistent achieving AA class and again qualifying for the Scottish Skeet Team. I have no doubt that without Dave’s professional coaching, support and encouragement I would not have achieved this. David Beardsmore’s coaching is a must for anyone who wants to fulfil their potential at skeet.
