Set within approximately 5,000 acres of rolling parkland, woodland and carefully managed cover crops, Sandon offers superb pheasant and partridge shooting in truly picturesque surroundings.With its sweeping views, mature woodland belts and beautifully maintained drives, Sandon Estate delivers a traditional English driven shoot experience.

The Estate can offer full team days with typical bags of 200+ birds, with flexibility depending on requirements. We can accommodate full teams, smaller private groups and individual Guns on selected days.
On arrival you will be greeted by the shoot host with coffee and refreshments before the morning briefing and drawing of pegs.On a typical shooting day at Sandon Estate, Guns meet in the morning for breakfast before departing for the first drive.
The party moves off in the estate gun bus or designated vehicles, ensuring smooth and comfortable transport between drives.The morning will usually consist of two drives followed by Elevenses in the field, then a further drive before lunch, which may be served in a designated hospitality setting or within the estate depending on the day’s arrangements.
The afternoon is completed with one or two further drives to achieve the required bag. At the end of the shoot day, the party returns for refreshments and the opportunity to relax and reflect on the day’s sport.
